Itrat Khan is the founder and president of Modeless Software, Inc. a software company built on Itrat’s forward thinking development principles, technical proficiency and enthusiasm for the Macintosh operating system.

Itrat has been an enthusiast of Apple and the Macintosh since their inception and has over 15 years experience in Macintosh development. Because of Itrat’s enduring commitment to the Mac community, applications developed by Modeless Software, Inc. are written exclusively for Apple’s Mac OS X operating system.

Prior to forming Modeless Software, Inc., Itrat worked with such technological innovators as IBM and Alias|Wavefront. While at IBM, he was on a team that serviced DB2, IBM’s multi-platform, Web-ready relational database management system. At Alias|Wavefront, which delivers animation software and services to such clients as Apple, Disney, Mercedes and Sony, Itrat managed the entire source code repository and developer environments for Alias Studio and served as a liason between marketing and engineering teams. Alias Studio is the leading 3D software for industrial design, automotive styling and technical surfacing.

Itrat holds an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Western Ontario and an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business, ranked by the Financial Times as the foremost MBA program in Canada and among the top twenty programs in the world.
